error message in windows media player

When i try to open windows media player, I get this error message...
windows\system32\msvfw32.dll is not a valid windows image

what should i do to fix this?

Msvfw32.dll is used by windows when working with Video files.

It may have become corrupted, try and replace it ... you can get a copy @

... Put the file into the WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder.
