Windows XP Home Ed.
Since loading a DVD game, on booting up the message is:"The file
ialmkchw.sys on Intel Corp Installation disk #1 is required"
Also the display is stuck in 8 bit mode.
Searches on Intel site and MS Support show no results.
Your kind assistance please --Richard

Ialmkchw.sys is the Intel Graphics Chipset Driver for Windows 2000 and
Windows XP and belongs to the Intel Graphics Accelerator. However...

Malware has been known to camouflage itself as ialmkchw.sys, particularly if
it is located in the c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folders. Therefore,
if you did not install a version of the Intel Graphics Accelerator, you
should take steps to determine if one of the many varieties of malware has
infected your computer.

On the other hand, if this game was purchased from a legitimate source, you
can contact the author's technical support group.

Thanks for the help---A search of the computer does not find any
evidence of the file so I am wondering whether the game that was loaded
damaged or deleted the file.(the error message does request the Intel
disk #1.
Perhaps I should do another dheck on the Intel site ??
Kind regards.Richard
