i just got a new computer and it has windows XP home edition. whenever i try
to play a game off a disk, CD or downloaded off the net, or any other
software like 'learn touch typing' i get this error message:
16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft WIndows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application
then if i click close or ignore it closes anyway. this happens with games
which are meant to be played on windows XP AND with ones that are meant to be
on windows 95 or 98. the game will work on my friends computer which has
windows XP so i know it should be possible. please help me!
