Error message "could not read the calendar" whenever I open outloo

When I open outlook it gives me the above error message. It worked fine for
a while but yesterday it started only giving me the list view. Today I
received the same error message but know it does not show my calendar info in
list format. Also, I have a number next to my inbox but when I select inbox
nothing happens.
 
Problem solved. I found and ran scanpst and everything is fine. Only took
two days and reloading Office three times to figure out it was the data file.
I hope this helps someone else.
 
I found my scanpst.exe file as well. But when I double-click - nada, zip,
zero happens. I'm the administrator for this computer.

Any ideas?
