Error Message [16 bit Windows Subsystem]

After I turn the computer on, wait for the Windows XP logo screen, then click
on my user Screen Name, all my programs load up fine. There's just an
annoying window that that pops up and says "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXECT.NT.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
Applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." I have a choice
of two buttons 'Close' and 'Ignore'. I allways choose 'Close'. The computer
and programs work fine. It's just that annoying little message, that pops up
every time I turn it on, that I want to make disappear.

Error message when you install or start an MS-DOS or 16-bit Windows-based program

Replace the standard version of autoexec.nt/config.nt by copying a backup copy
located in %windir%\repair\ to %windir%\system32\
(NB: %windir% is typically C:\Windows)
