Error - Mail Merge

When attempting to do a mail merge from MS Word or Excel the following popup
error appears.

"A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf."
"Do you want to allow this?"
**Possible virus warning. **
YES or NO

This is expected. The problem is for every intended recipient you have to
click YES.
In the case of 500 recipients this can be quite time consuming.

Is there an available workaround for this?
