I tried to do an update on my computer to xp pro. I got
an error when doing it, and stopped.
Now when i start up my computer, i have to choose which
system to use...xp pro, or xp pro install.
I want to know how to get rid of this xp pro install
option so that I don't have to choose.

any ideas?

Regards,

1. You will want to make sure that Explorer is set to show hidden and
Operating System files
2. Go to the root of your C: drive
3. Right click BOOT.INI and go to properties
4. Remove the Read-Only flag and click OK
5. Double click on your Boot.ini to open it in Notepad
6. Under the [operating systems] section, delete the OS installation line
that you do not want appearing on boot.
