device manager error

I am getting an error for the driver in my display
adapters. It says "this device cannot start. (code 10)"

I found that I didn't even have display adapters in the
device manager. It was because of an upgrade from xp
home to xp pro. I also the lost the standby/hibernate
tab in the power options, and shutdown menu. I was told
that i need to update my drivers. When I did this, i got
the error mentioned above. This is the most up to date
driver. It came from the manufacturer.
Can anyone please help me?

thanks for your reply. i searched your link. however,
it just said to update it, or troubleshoot. I did both,
and i can't update it or roll it back since i have the
most up to date driver for it.
Troubleshoot leads me down a path of "can't be corrected".

Can you or someone help any further?
