i am currently sudying at university and i connect to the internet via
a network. when i connect the pc runs fine but after about twenty
minutes the PC begins to act strangely...
-First thing you notice is that when you type, the blinking cursor
starts traveling backwards through the word so that you are forced to
type backwards. like this....
"¦" < blinking cursor
typin ¦ g
typi ¦ ng
typ ¦ ing
ty ¦ ping
you get the idea.. (hopefully) this affects the whole PC. with any
typing at all.
-Second thing you notice is that when you move the mouse over a button
the button either presses automatically or it just wont press, no
matter how many times you click the mouse.
-Third thing you notice is that the pc runs really slowly, and you can
hear the pc trying to do a task. (this MAY not be part of the same
problem, but it still bothers me)
If i do not connect the PC to the internet, it appears the problem does
not occur.
I have an acer Notebook PC, Running Windows XP.
the problems fix if i restart my PC. i have done a virus and spyware
scan, with Norton Antivirus (not the best i know) but i got no
infections..
If anymore info is required i should be able to tell you, but please
try and help its driving me insane.
