A program I installed caused a majoy problem tu my lap top. During booting,
it says that there is no operating system, but I know all information is
still there. I need to know if there is some way to boot my computer from a
disc (cd-diskette) so I can just recover my information by burning a cd or
somehow, so then I can format it and start all over again. If there is a way,
how do I do this? Is there something in the Internet? Do I have to make it
myself? Is there an option here in my desktop so I can make a boot disk?

Hi,

Boot the WinXP CD, load the Recovery Console and logon as administrator.
From the command prompt run fixboot.
