Error importing SLD into Database Manager

G

Gabriel K.

Receiving this error when importing a custom SLD into the Database Manager:

Error: Cannot import SLD file The process cannot access the file because it
is being used by another process.

This error occurs after my repositories have been added. All other Windows
Embedded tools are closed. I still receive this error after restarting.
Seems I can move and delete the SLD file, so I'm not sure how to find which
process is using it. I have been able to import this component in the past,
but have recently added about a couple thousand files and multiple repository
locations to a repository set.

Update: Still receiving error, but have narrowed it down.

I can reproduce this issue 100% if I perform these steps:
1. create new sld
2. create new component
3. create new repository
4. set the source path for the repository to "C:" (should look something
like: ".\..\.." in the text field.
5. save sld, and import into database
6. import will fail with error msg described above

I need to use that directory, and suggestions?

Gabriel,

Just wondering if C: is your system drive? If so, it probably has somesystem (and hidden) files that are being used by the
repository import process. The files are locked and hence you get the error.
I'd suggest you to set up the repository and its source path under a folder, not under the root of the drive.
