Error importing all images, music, and video

I am unable to import any images, music, or video into moviemaker 2.1 without
receiving (filelocation) could not be imported. Unspecified error. Trust me,
I've tried 1000 different images, formats, etc., with no luck.

I've reinstalled XP SP2 with no change in behavior. Does anyone have any
idea what is causing this? :-(

I've downloaded Microsoft's PhotoStory3 and it's working fine. It just lacks
some of the transitions and ease of features I liked in Moviemaker.

I'm having the exact same problem. Have you learned anything more since you
first posted? BTW, I use a SONY VAIO computer.

I have the same problem to, it did word before, why suddenly it stopped
working?
And yes indeed u can't find the 2.1 because it is in your SP2 or SP3 build in.
They told me to do update on microsoft, but he still does not find a thing.
It is still the same, I also try to update the moviemaker but the errors are
still there.
I can put anything on the timeline. I am shure I do it well, because I
already made a lot presentations with it. What is happening? I see the same
problem on a lot of forums, but not anyone can help.
Plaese, microsoft, tell us what to do.
