Error FLDPUB.DLL

When an update goes out in office 2000 I get an error that
says "Outlook caused an error in FLDPUB.DLL" Outlook will
now close.
Have ran detect and repair but that does not correct
problem. Would appreciate assistance is correcting.

(Tools > Options > Other > Add-In Manager)
