Hey, my computer has a stupid "Beavis" virus on it. It's in the Explorer.
exe which is what this virus does. So I can't boot my system. I found it by
booting in Safe Mode and running my AVG. But the AVG did not delete it. I
made the mistake of turning off the computer b/c I thought the virus was gone.
Now I can't boot in Safe Mode anymore. In both Safe Mode and Normal Mode a
error message comes up that says "Error loading Explorer.exe - Must reinstall
Windows. Is there a way to bypass or load my system so I can get this stupid
virus off?

Try copying the Explorer.exe file off of someone else's computer that is
running the same version of Windows as you, and replacing the infected one.
You will have to do this through DOS, so hopefully you at least have a clue
on how to use that...

And how does he do this through DOS if the file system is NTFS and DOS can't
read it?

- First off, not everyone uses NTFS, some still use Fat32 for whatever
reason that may be.
- Second, there are versions of DOS (or DOS programs) that have been written
to deal with the NTFS file system. Try a GOOGLE search, you know, that
thing you tell everyone else to use...

I know how it works, but maybe you could explain that to the poster, eh?
