Hi,

I have a problem with viewing pdf files (created at runtime at the server)
in my Internet Explorer (checked versions 5 to 6). I can easily see these
files on Mozilla browser but not on IE. It gives me an error saying the file
was not found although the file exists in the folder.

Is this a bug with IE. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Problems and Solutions for Access to PDF (Adobe Acrobat) Files on the Web

Hi Leboeuf,

I checked all the issues that you mentioned in your reply. My problem is
that IE cannot open the file at all. The path is generated by a python
script which is subsequently picked up as the url address (passed as
querystring value). There is no # in the file name or path. The other
reasons don't match the condition. Mozilla has no such problems in picking
up the path for the pdf and renders it properly on the browser.

Why is IE not able to display the pdf ? Do you think IE has a bug in this
regard. My client uses IE and is greatly annoyed when I suggested moving to
Mozilla for the time being. I have tried all the possibilities I could
think about and have drawn null.

If you find a solution please do help.

Cheers,

Kaustav
