We just installed Windows 2000 Server SP4 with
no 'hitches', until now. We then tried to install an
update to Cyme software which gave us the error message:
Error creating process <C:\Documents and
Settings\uaserver\Local
Settings\Temp\IXP000.TMP\msiinst.exe /iinstmsi.msi
MSIEXECREG=1 /m /qb+1>. Reason: INNT/system32/advpack.dll
We have an advpack.dll file in the C:/WINNT/system32/
folder. I then attempted to download and install a new
Windows installer program and the same Error message
popped up.
How do we fix this?
