i have tried copying about 400 photos to flash drive (yes there is plenty of
space on it) can copy about 300 or so to flash drive then get following msg.
ERROR COPYING FILE OR FOLDER with CANNOT COPY (photo name) THE DIRECTORY OR
FILE CANNOT BE CREATED. then only choice is to cancel the operation. all
photos were taken on same day with same camera with no problems. if i delete
the photo that error occurs on, error then happens on next photo in sequence.
i can use PASTE option to get photos onto flash drive from MY PICTURES but
what is causing the error message & how can i fix it please ? i have tried
several different (new) flash drives but error msg. still comes up. any
clues please ??????? i am using windows xp sp 2

There may be a limit to the number of files
that can be copied to the root directory on
the flash drive.

Maybe you need to place the files in one or
more folders and then copy the folder/s to
the flash drive.
