when I use IE6, some ads on the web pages do not come up and show the "page
cannot be displayed". The whole page comes up, it's just ads and when I try
to play internet games off of sites. I thought it might be because of a
setting in a virus or spyware program I am running, but i reinstalled all of
them and I cannotfigure out how to fix it. please help :)

I am having the same problem. For instance, if I go to the MSNBC home page,
there are two ads that show that message. And if I right-click the Back
arrow, there are two entries on the back path that show
http://ad.doubleclick.net/adi/N2949.msn. These entries varies from site to
site, but for every ad or space that gets the "cannot be displayed" there is
an entry in the back path. If I right-click on the area where the ad should
be(on the MSNBC site) and select properties, the address shows as
res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#http://ad.doubleclick.net/adi/N2949.msn.comSD2527/B1594961.31;sz=180x150;ord=25790?
If I go to the MSNBC using Netscape, the ads display properly. I suspect
there is something wrong in the IE security setup, but I can't figure out the
problem.

I would like to add that I am running XP Pro sp2 and IE Ver
6.0.2899.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
