error codes 2894,126 software wont load win 2000

attempting to load software recieve internal error 2894,126 and software wont load attempt to open wordpad recieve dialogbox riched20.dll wont load ,reformat and load win 2000 irecieve two messages the odbc wont install nor will the riched20.dll file will not install got any answers?help thanks
