Error code 529

Computer could not find operating system, downloaded XP
boot disk from MS site. Tried booting computer from boot
disk and received message "File \biosinfo.inf could not be
loaded." What do I do now?

Rick,

do a repair installation. Boot from the XP CD (must be a full
version, not OEM), choose to install Windows XP, then, when it
shows you the existing installation, choose to do a repair
installation.
