Error applying transforms

Hi
I have installed a program called OpenMind to my Citrix servers. I used Wise for Windows Installer to make a transform file and the Citrix installation manager to role out the installation job. No problems here
Now a need to patch the installation. I have patched the administrative installation share with msiexec /a /p option but when I try to update my servers (msiexec /fvomus path to msi file) I get this error

Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid

If I use the Citrix Installation Manager and point out the patch file (*.msp) the installation job also fails

If I uninstall the program by hand and then make at new installation from the installationshare everything works fine

What have I missed here ? Please help me.

It sounds like the transform was applied from some where
on the network and isn't present there now. When you apply
the patch it looks for the source and then since not able
to find throws the error.

When you uninstalled and reinstalled the application the
source locations were updated and hence from there on you
could install the patch.
