error 775

Hi heres the deal.We have a normal dial up account with tescos on our old
computer.We have just got a new computer and wanted to have the account on
our new computer.I put in all the dial up numbers and passwor and everything
on the computer but when it comes to dial up it comes up with something
saying "opening port... error 775:the call was blocked by the remote
computer.I have tried lots of things but I dont really know whats wrong.I
would ring the help line but they kept me on hold for half an hour at £1 a
min which is crazy.Your help really would be appriciated!

Plenty of info particularly making sure correct number is being dialed as well
as checking to see the number you are dialing is not experiencing an outage.
This as well as making sure you are configured correctly. May have to check all
of this as well as call your ISP.

You are going to have to "bite the bullet" and contact your service
provider. You will likely find a simple error of commission/omission in your
data setup and say to yourself - How could I be so dumb! We have all been
there (-:
