Error 721

I have a win 2000 server we use to connect to several
different VPNs, and everything has been going smoothly.
Yesterday we had to shut down this server, and everything
else for that matter due to a prolonged balackout. Now I
can not conttet to any of these VPNs. Anyone have any
Ideas?

I have read that ther are some known problems with win2k
sp4 systems connecting to custered VPN servers, but I did
not see any resolution that could be applied to the client
system to resolve the problem.

Were you SP4 before the reboot? If so, then it's not going to be related to
SP4.

What I would check to make sure from the remote site that you can telnet to
the VPN server port tcp/1723.
It almost sounds like something outside your environment might be a limiting
factor. Let us know the results of the telnet.

Also on the net there are some pptp/gre test tools, download one of those
and see what you can find. greping and pptpping are 2 of the tools you might
want to look for. I hope that helps.
