error 711

I got this error and basicaly I reebooted my system because I losted my xp home ....well was all blue ,anyway I put my xp home edition on my drive and clicked upgrade xp ....everything was fine until I tried to connected to the net and cannot do it ,looks like cannot established a connection error 711 ,well my dial up folder doesn't work those tabs to set up a new connection are grey and cannot do it ,.....please help. Thanks
