error 623

I get this error message on Microsoft Outlook when I first boot up. I then
have to connect via double clicking on the internet icon. I also have to
press send/receive get messages. I can't get them or send automatically.
(I'm on broadband)
Any advice will be welcome.

This sounds like a RAS/dialup connectiod issue and not Outlook. Kinda odd
that would have it configured this way if on broadband. Might want to check
your account settings in Outlook (make sure it says use LAN) and/or double
check your connection settings in Internet Explorer. Also within Outlook,
check out Tools | Options | Mail Setup and check to see if use existing is
selected and clear the last two checkboxes in the dialup area.

ps - i'm assuming you are using Outlook 2003 since you didn't specify
version.
