I have been trying for days now to install Avery's DesignPro 5.0. I have
downloaded the software 3 times @ 2+hours per download. I have Installed .Net
1.1 and associated updates. I have emptied the Temp dir. I have Installed the
J2SE(JRE) and I have searched through countless web sites. The program starts
installing fine, but when it gets to the end I get 3 errors that read as
follows1)"DesignPro 5.0 Media Edition Install Time Error. Please contact
customer support." (2)"DesignPro 5.0 Media Edition Error. Error
1722.....There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program
run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact support
personnel or package vendor." Error #3 happens during the programs rollback
and it reads: (3)"Error 1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult windows
install helper (MSi.chm) or MSDN for more info." If someone could please
help me resolve this issue I would be greatly appreciative. I am running Xp
ProSP1, Amd Sempron 2600+, 1GB DDR, 180Gig HD, 128mb GeForce FX 5200. If any
of that helps. Thanks in advance!
