Windows keeps trying to configure Digitlmg but I have no idea what it is or
where it came from. I have to keep cancelling it. It pops up in the middle of
everything I try to do. Please help.

Please go to Add/Remove programs and uninstal the graphic editing software
(HP). See if this fixes the issue.

What would that be listed under? I've checked every program--I haven't seen
that one. Thanks.

This apparently happened when I downloaded security updates for Media Player
10 OR security updates for SP2. It wasn't happening before then. Thanks.

This seems to be a HP graphic editing software, and one of those updates
might have screwed up the graphic editing software.

What graphic editing software or HP software do you have installed? Try
uninstalling all of them.

I don't know exactly what you mean--I have Adobe, a trial DL of Office 2003
and other things. I had a virus a while back--there was a MAJOR problem
getting backup disks created. If I uninstall anything I may lose all of it
unless I know exactly what to uninstall. Thanks for your patience.

It's a fully loaded HP computer. Would you please tell me the names of some
of the graphic software you are referring to? I also can't delete AOL--128
files--no source file available. Thanks so much.

Haha, well that must be the issue.

I have no exact HP software names (since I don't use HP). And since it's a
HP machine, please pop in the HP CD and install all the graphic editing
softaer that it has (or all HP software). See if this solves the isuse.

Hi! I called tech support. We went into Run, msconfig, startup and unchecked
2 AOL boxes and the HP digital imaging box--then rebooted and it finally
quit! Thanks for all of your help!!! I really appreciate it!!!
