whenever i try to install itunes, age of empires three or microsoft flight
simulator x demo i get the message:

error 1327: Invalid drive: H:\

this appears right at the beginning of the installation before i can even
select any options, just after the install package has been unpacked. There
isn't a H drive, but ther was one that has been removed, i think that it may
have been set as the default location for these things to be unpacked to. Is
there any way i can set The C drive as the default place for this?

Open System Properties, Advanced tab, Environment Variables, and edit
any variable that mentions the H: drive.

Kyle S...Could you provide a more detailed procedure for your fix of the
1327 error? I am trying to uninstall some software that isn't used and is
taking up space and there are about 5 programs that I cannot remove. I read
your post about using Device Manager to change the cd drive letter to H. I
have been trying to find a way to do this but so far have been unsuccessful.
I would appreciate any help out there!
