Error 1327.Invalid Drive E:\

I'm experiencing these error during numerous installation
attempts. I had a hard drive with 2 partitions on it, C
and D. I got rid of the D partition and merged it into the
C partition so my C partition would be larger. My external
hard drive which was E, is now D. How do I fix this error
without changing my D drive back to E?
