error 1068

I loaded a new card reader to my PC and I am getting this error: I cannot
start my services as I get the error 1068: The dependency service or group
failed to start.

I am trying to do a system restore and PC will not allow me to do this. When
I click on system restore icon I get the following message “System restore is
not able to protect your computer. Please restart your computer, and then run
system restore again†this did not work.

I also tried to start system restore service in the services folder but I
get the 1068 error.

Can some once help please?

Is this new card reader from Lexmark? START > RUN >Services.msc , then Open
Print Spooler, Restart the service n keep the startup type as Automatic, if u
still get the error msg, then chk the dependencies tab n then chk for the
services under it, and then enable services namely, "Remote Procedure Call"
Fax "LexBce Server", If one of this svc doesn't start, check their
dependencies list and try to enable as much as possible, it has to work. If
not Lexmark, sorry.

Thanks for the advice but this is not a Lexmark card reader and I think the
problem has evicted more programs on my PC for e.g. I cannot send email, go
to help file, restore data and when I min a program it disappear and I need
to reopen the program. I cannot open the properties of any program.
