Error 1003 Blue Screen

I'm running a Dell Dimension 8400 3.4ghz P4 HT, 1GB 533mz memory, SATA
160gb drive, Dell OEM win xp sp2.

I'm getting a blue screen error 1003 about 1x per day.

I'm also periodically getting Event ID: 7023:

The Computer Browser service terminated with the following error:
This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

This one doesn't blue screen though.

Any hints on how to go about figuring out what's causing the problem
would be greatly appreciated. I need to quickly determine whether the
computer needs to be returned or not.
