Just switched on one of my computers running Windows Vista Ultimate x86 and a
message comes up "Windows cannot verify the digital signature of this file",
referring to winload.exe with the error message 0xc0000428.
I've tried the usual repair options with no effect. The only option appears
to be to disable driver enforcement from the advanced options. This starts
the system with no issues.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can get windows to verify the
digital signature of the file.
