Error 0x800CCC0E

I am able to recieve emails but i am unable to send them out. Everytime i try
i receive this error message :
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'testing testing', Account:
'mail.comcast.net (1)', Server: 'smtp.mail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

what should i do?

Here is an instruction from one of the MVPs : - -

Note that the outgoing server now requires port 587 rather than port 25.
Also, "My server requires authentication" must be checked.

Try using the correct server name, port 587, and not SSL... as instructed
here....
