Hello,
I tried to update my Windows 2000 Pro SP4 system in Windows Vista Family
Premium Edition.
After launching the installation on Win 2000 system, the setup fails with
error " Unable to open Install.wim check that all necessary files are
provided"
In the setuperr.log I have the following error message:

SelectImages: Failed to retrieve the WIM file's XML info; status
0x8007000b[gle=0x0000000b]

Can anyone help me ?
Thanks

I solved the problem by copying the Install.wim file by network from the DVD
drive of an another computer,and proceeded with a Windows Vista Flat
Installation.
The installation of Vista is OK now.
There was probably a problem with DVD driver in Win2000 wich corrupted the
file transfer.
