Error 0x8004210A

Hi,

I have been reading all post re this error, but still did not manage to
solve the problem.

I have Outlook 2003, SP3 (I suppose, because Office Update tells me there
are no updates available for my computer, and I have it on automatic updates,
anyway), created a new mail profile, run the Detect and Repair feature,
deleted the *.SRS files. I do not want to switch off Anti Virus (Bit Defender
Pro, version 10), because OL was working properly until yesterday with BD on.

Problem started with two stuck outgoing messages. I downloaded Outlook Spy
and deleted them, one smoothly and the other one complicated.

Can someone assist, please, or will I have to reinstall Office?

Thanks in advance.

Is your problem deleting the mail that remains?

did you try "Shift-Delete" ?

I'm not sure what exactly your challenge is tho'.?

Hi, Thanks for your reply. The problem is that e-mail does not get in nor out
- can't neither receive - I get the error message - nor send - the message
just stays there and doesn't leve the outbox.

Thanks for your help.

Michaele, hello.

I did try "Shift-Delete", albeit I do not want to delete the messages that
are in the Outbox - I want to send them... Anyway, the message I have got was
that the messages cannot be accessed.

What went wrong? I do not know. Outlook got stuck with two "read receipt"
messages being sent, and I came to this forum to try to find help. I read one
post about Outlookspy, which I downloaded.

I followed the instructions, but only one of the messages was deleted
easily: to delete the other one I had to do it manually - I think there was
even an warning message about Outlook, but am not sure.

After I deleted both messages, I restarted my computer, but OL is stuck as
before - now with two messages I wrote in the Outbox, and none coming in (I
read them in a webmailer).

Is tehere anything to be done, or do i have to reinstall OL?

thanks
Luis
