Epson R300 CD-Print Problem

I'm printing large quantities of CD's (on appropriate media) - usually
batches of 50-100. Occasionally ink leaks onto the guide rollers and
messes up the CD being printed. I've noticed that this leak occurs
before the print cycle begins. It appears to be black, but may very
well be other colors if they are blending.

Any help would be... helpful.

I've adjusted the Platen Gap to be wide, it seems to help a bit, but not completely.
