Epson cartridges -- past due date query

I recently bought an Epson Color 600 Printer color cartridge (s020089) on
EBAY.

But the due date says 04/2003. I won't need to use this cartridge for a
couple of months. Any opinions on using a cartridge that is over-due. It is
still new, in the sealed package.

Hi,

This question has come up lots of times and each person says they've had
no problems using the cartridges, even though as long as a year past the
useage date listed on the box.
Being that you're still using an SC 600 your machine is living on borrowed
time, and probably will have no trouble continuing to perform miraculously.
