Epson 600 refill seen as empty

Any hints on getting a refilled color cartridge to work? The printer
keeps seeing it as empty.

I've...

removed and cleaned print head assembly and squirted IPA to confirm no
clogs

filled the cartridge to full

tapped & otherwise forced the ink so it is at the outlets

Any ideas?

Check the contact switch in the printhead.
The fork tines are probably not aligned properly
any more to cover the reset contacts properly.
This was a common problem with the older
Epson printers.
