Envelope print dim

The printing on my envelopes is very dim. How do I correct it? (Windows 2003
Word)
 
Make sure the envelope styles are set to 'black' and that you have all your
ink cartridges clean and filled.
Rumour has it that Lexmark printers suffer from this issue more than others,
but I have been unable to confirm it for myself.
