ENTERING MY BIOS

I am trying to reload my XP and was told to go to my bios
and and reboot from CD, how do I enter my bios?? I hit F8
and did not see any boot from CD option?????

The BIOS is the function of the motherboard and does not relate to the
operating system.
Different motherboard/computer manufacturers do it differently.
Reboot the computer.
During boot you will see something like "Press ** to enter setup"
Common keys are F1, F2, Esc, Delete and others.
Check your computer/motherboard manual for details.
