Enter key not responding

Greetings all,

Kind of an oddball problem. One of my users has been
having problems with the enter key. Sometimes it will
work, but more often than not, it won't. This happens to
both the regular and keypad enter keys, as well as
CTRL+M.

The reason I'm posting this here is because it's also
happening after replacing the keyboard. I've checked the
keyboard settings and drivers to no avail.

The system is a P4 2.4 GHZ running Win2K Pro with all of
the current patches in place. We're running Norton AV
with the 3/1 definition files.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Could be a corrupted profile - rename the user's profile
folder.
