Key Logger. or Spywayre.?

I have a WindowsXp sp2, with Intel 2.4 GHz 512 MB 80 Gb HDD machine with
Mechanical keyboard
when I try to use my Number key pad..ie 0-9 and + - * keys, usually my key
(9) and (-) do not work. and I have press those very hard and many times to
make those work..
I have removed keys and cleaned,
Changed the Keyboard..still no use
where as I can use my key pad keys easily I mean those above the alphabets
My PC was once infected with a Key logger..at that time some of the keys
would not function.
I have Norton anti virus, avg anti spyware and Spybot Search and destroy.(
updated regularly) these could not detect any virus or spy/ add ware..
can anyone help me.?

Do you have NumLock on when you try to use the number pad?

But if you have malware on your computer, it may be hiding. Try to boot from
a CD and scan your computer. I can recommend UBCD4Win.
