enlarging the height of the taskbar?

I am running XP Home SP-2 on a laptop whose optimal display setting is 1600
x 1200. That makes everything too small for me. I know how to enlarge the
size and spacing of the desktop icons, but that eaves the taskbar very small
in height and more importantly, the icons on it are also tiny.

Is there a way to increase the size of the taskbar icons?

Thanks again Kelly. I downloaded and ran the script, and then rebooted as
instructed - but nothing changed. Did I do something wrong?

Also will this enlarge both the taskbar height AND the icons that are in it
and presently so small they are invisible?

P.S. I am using XP Home SP-2.

Most welcome, Jeff. It increases the size of the buttons (width).
