Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP)

On my old system (Compaq running Win 98), I added an IBM
scanner. I was advised to go to EPP by hitting F10 before
Windows started....no prob. Got a new system (Dell running
Win XP). Hooked up the scanner, loaded the CD, and tried
to go to EPP via F10.....NO CAN DO. How do I get into the
BIOS?

The keypress for the BIOS will be indicated in the PC's manual.... I've come
across Del, F1, F2, F10... and a few others in my time. The Del key is
probably the most common.
