Parrallel Port Setting

I have a scanner that I am trying to use w/XP Home
Edition. It worked fine on WIN/98 with EPP mode set on
the parallel port.

How do I set EPP mode on in XP. I've gone to:
Control Panel selected System and clicked on Device
Manager then clicked on LPT1 (my port) and looked at
properties. However, I don't see anything in there that
looks like something I can change to EPP mode on.

Help,
Oscar

You must set it from the BIOS..... to enter the BIOS is a certain keypres on
startup... exactly which key to press depends on the motherboard and type of
BIOS installed on it.... I've come across:

F1, F2, F10, F11 and Del (and a few others) in my time. Consult your PC
manual for the correct key press for your particular PC.
