Endless Restarting Loop -- HELLLLLLP!!

My computer is now in an endless restarting loop - it restarts before the
windows logo screen, again and again, never stops.

This is where the problem begins:
I had Vista installed(where in another partition), and soon I get bored and
wanted to uninstall it. So I followed some steps on some websites which
suggest user to "fixboot" and "fixmbr" and then format the Vista partition.
But as I did so, the original XP partition didn't boot up. I thought that
was a MBR problem so I then tried to perform a repair install to solve this
problem.
And there was the next big problem -- the installation was stuck at about
"34 minutes remaining" and even spent hours to wait still dont run. I
"Googled" around the Internet and figured out that was some kind of a
hardware problem. I didn't think my hardwares have any, but I tried to
resolve, though, didn't work. Then I rebooted and pressed F5 before loading
the setup and performed a "Debug Mode". Amazingly, it works. After the
installation was completed, the computer restarts and fell in the endless
loop.

How should I fix this problem? Any suggestion is precious and appreciated.

Thanks for your patience.

The articles you provided don't help much to my situation. Because my
computer doesn't even appear the startup screen, every options after pressing
F5 seem to be quite useless, all come to the same result - restart.

Thanks again for your help, I need further informations.

Can you get into Safe Mode.

To use a Safe Boot option, follow these steps:
1. Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your
keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple
operating systems, you can press the F8 key when you the Boot Menu
appears.
2. Select an option when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and
then press ENTER.
3. When the Boot menu appears again, and the words "Safe Mode" appear
in blue at the bottom, select the installation that you want to start,
and then press ENTER.

To jmatt:
My computer can not load in safe mode because it also restarts again as the
normal mode. I'm really confused.

To GreenieLeBrun:
Thanks for your help. The "34 minutes remaing" problem has been resolved.

Let's get back to the origin.
What has been edited after I typed "fixboot" and "fixmbr" in the recovery
console? I don't want to get things too complicated and I want a direct
method the solve this problem.

I forget one thing to remind you.
I've cancelled auto-reboot when boot up fails so it displays a blue screen.
The error code is:
STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78A664,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

Thanks for your help. Please reply soon if you haveany ideas.

Here's why "Automatically restart on errors" is such a stupid default:

Really, it could be anything that crashes the system during startup,
if you have the duhfault "restart on errors" in effect. If your CD is
older than the SP level of your PC, pulling a new Kernel32.dll into
place without backing up old one first may cause undoable version soup
