Ending DEVLDR

Sometimes when logging off of a Windows XP profile, the
following message pops up:

Ending DEVLDR
End Now Cancel

Clicking End Now generally closes the program and
continues the log off, but it is an annoyance to have to
wait to see if the message appears or not. If I don't
click End Now when the message appears, the computer
eventually freezes.

Any solutions?

These are soundcard drivers from Creative. Go to Creative's website and
update the drivers.
