ending DEVLDR on shutdown

everytime i shut down the computer or restart, i get the
message ending program DEVLDR. how do i get rid of
this? b/c everytime it happens, i have to click to end
the program and then click the shutdown/restart button
again.

Do you have a Creative Labs Sound Blaster sound card?
If yes, you need to download the latest driver from Creative Labs as the
driver that comes with Windows XP exhibits the issue you are seeing
