DEVLDR won't shut down

Very regurlay when I shut down windows a dialog box comes
up saying DEVLDR not responding. Whether I choose end
now or let it go, either way Windows does not shut down.
I have to turn off the computer to get it to reboot. Can
this be fixed?

DEVLDR is a driver for Sound Blaster soundcards. You may want to check to
see if there's a newer driver available on WindowsUpdate or on Creative's
website.

Hi Ed,

This can usually be fixed by updating your audio drivers to the latest
Creative release.
