I accidentally deleted this registry file: EnableDCOM = Y

Looking for a way to restore it.

Why you would want to enable DCOM is beyond me.

Navigate to >>
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE

Right click in the right hand pane | New |
String Value | Name it: EnableDCOM | Set
Value Data to Y or N

You will probably have to reboot for the change to take affect.

I guess I just want it there. (Something should be there I think.)
I'll set the value data to "N"

Thanks a lot!!
